AndorraIntroduction
There is one University in Andorra. There is only 1 OA repository in Andorra and no OA journals indexed in DOAJ. In 2008, GÉANT2 has extended its reach by providing connectivity to the University of Andorra, which now represents the National Research and Education Network (NREN) of Andorra, via RedIRIS, the Spanish NREN, and the Anella Científica, the Catalan Regional Research and Education Network. There is 1 government-funded research library (IFLA, 2007).
Enabling Environment
Andorra has a small population (77,142) and limited infrastructure for developing OA strategies making it difficult to implement Open Access Environment.
